Conquer

My inner demon is reaping me inside

It’s dying to go outside

I’m trying my best to suppress it

But the smell of sin

Is so tempting…

Gluttony, lust, sloth, greed

Her mouth is watering and likes to take a peak

Pride, wrath, envy

She wants to reign my body, selfishly

Might as well give up this fight

Then I remembered…

That I belong to the light!

    Very true the 7 eternal find are always tempting. They may not be sin themselves but they tempt us to convert out bad thoughts to sins

    Temptations can be very strong. Sadly, they may always be…at certain times. But we can overcome them more often if we walk with more commitment to the Lord.
