It would be colorless
Until someone comes along
Paint it with the color of their soul

It would be unconditional
Without limitations, without expectations
Even if their happiness comes from someone else
If I were to define love,
It would be hope
“Hope he’s okay, hope he can sleep well after a tiring day, hope he misses me like I miss him.”
If I were to define love,
It would be poetry
When you can only express it through words
Because even if you try so hard, you can’t do it in action
If I were to define love,
It would be forgiveness
Freeing yourself from the pain that a certain person caused you
It is for you, not for anybody else
